Guardians

Inspired by a scripture passage I heard in a song on a CD I borrowed from my aunt.

Isiah 62:6-7

"I have posted watchmen on your walls , O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the name of the Lord give yourselves rest, and give him no rest until he establishes Jerusalem and makes her a praise in the earth."

So the song was rathar repetitive with that verse but I started getting this mental picture, and the building they are on (Whol Torah Center) came to mind and got stuck there. Perhaps it stuck in my head because if we follow the Godly principles stipulated by the Torah they act as a wall of protection around our lives and keep us from lots of harm. I saw the Whol Torah center in a book my dad brought back from one of his many trips to Israel that had all sorts of photos of Jerusalem. For the guardiens, their physical appearence was inspired by other scripture verses. I figured that God wasnt talking about human guardiens so I found descriptions of some of his enterouge (spelling?). The description of the woman can be found in Zechariah 5, and the description of the dude can be found in Ezekiel 40. Done with coloured pencil. Hope everyone enjoys.
